On June 4, 2015, the European Union Gazette (OJ) issued the RoHS 2.0 Amendment Directive (EU) 2015/863, officially listed DEHP, DBP, BBP, and DIBP in the Appendix II List of Restricted Substances. Up to now, there are ten mandatory in Appendix II. Control substances, as shown in the following table:

After the issuance of this revised directive, EU member states are required to approve and issue laws, regulations and administrative regulations that comply with the Directive by December 31, 2016. The relevant provisions shall be implemented from July 22, 2019.

Sample testing process

Refer to EN14372, ASTM D3421 and other methods. Accurately weigh 2 g of the fully pulverized sample, extract by wire for more than 8 hours, transfer and volatize the solvent, dilute to 25 mL with n-hexane, filter, and test on the machine.
