Asia's top four VR events to be missed in the first half of 2017 from Baidu VR

Virtual reality technology, or VR, is now one of the hottest topics in the tech world. North America and Europe have always dealt with the leading position in VR technology, and successfully held many VR conferences, but Asian technology workers are also catching up. Their efforts are evident at the just-concluded CES. Looking forward to 2017, the Forbes website on January 17 selected the top four VR events in Asia in the first half of this year.

1.2017 Asia VR&AR Expo and Summit Forum (March 8-11, Guangzhou)

This is a brand new event focused on VR and AR technology organized by China. Although the government has not announced which items and related schedules are included in the activities, it has promised to cover a wide range of hardware, software, equipment, accessories, applications, games, betas, and technical discussions. I believe that this grand event will show China's best side in VR and AR technology achievements. Let us wait and see.

2. Global Mobile Internet Conference Session: Global VR Conference (April 28, Beijing)

As one of the largest mobile Internet conferences in the world, the global VR conference held in Beijing this year has announced on the official website the specific timetable for the day of the event. The table is full of names of VR world predators from around the world. This conference is expected to point the way to the VR circle ecosystem in Asia and the surrounding regions.

3. Singapore Broadcast Asia Chapter: VR Rally (May 23 - 25, Singapore)

As one of the world-famous international conferences for video, audio, television and movie practitioners in Asia, as well as landmark exhibitions in Singapore, this year's Asian Broadcasting Show will be the first to hold a chapter on VR technology. This VR conference will focus on the development and production of VR products and their applications in the broadcast field. A few years ago, streaming media technology and mobile device on-demand technology "grabbed" a large number of audiences and viewers from traditional broadcast technologies; today, both online broadcast platforms and traditional broadcast media practitioners hope to gain more audiences through VR technology.

4. Asia Consumer Electronics Show (CES Asia) (June 7-9, Shanghai)

As usual, this year's Asia Consumer Electronics Show will also showcase the latest technologies and products in the IT and technology consumer industries. By then, we can not only see the results of the research and development efforts of the unique technology companies, but also the Those companies that took off at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas made great progress six months later.
