Some things I know very well: smartphones, home theater systems and classic recorders. On the other hand, cars are not a topic that I often know, except that occasionally I can watch the production of cars that can fly in the Internet search engine (yes, not yet).

This is me, after returning to Los Angeles in New York City after 17 years of happy public transportation (I grew up here as a child). In Los Angeles, in addition to food and sunscreen, we also need a car. Let me repeat it: Half of the life of a Los Angeles person is spent in a car, so he needs a car with beautiful interiors, comfort and high technology.
The last car I owned was the 1985 Subaru GL. The car was awesome at the time, with an electronic dashboard and two driving computers. The situation has changed slightly since then, but I was persuaded to find a car that would satisfy my upgraded "technical desires." After all, my world is full of tablets, smartphones and 3D movies. I am not prepared to endure a low-tech dashboard.
Now, buying a car is very much like buying a digital product. Of course, fuel efficiency, speed and appearance are all important, but dashboards are often the way you interact with your car. If you are dissatisfied with the confusing interface and the sluggish navigation system, your relationship with the car will always be affected.
I decided to use the same method as buying a new digital device when buying a car: research and destruction. Since 1985, many things have changed.
Voice activation. In the driving process, it is dangerous to use a mobile phone, especially while sending text messages, and it is illegal in many states in the United States. The good news is that many cars now have Bluetooth sync and voice activated dialing. Just say, "Call to Mom", the car will do everything else. You can listen to the other party's phone through the car's audio system, and the car's microphone will receive your voice.
Of course, the premise of calling your mother is that your mother's phone number is already on your phone, your car has correctly downloaded your phone book list, and your car can understand you. After searching, I found that some cars can understand me better.
Entertainment features. MP3 player integration, hard drives, DVD players and surround sound are now the most advanced. Some systems just use the AUX jack to get the sound from your MP3 player, which means your iPod can't be charged while driving. A car with better performance will include a way to charge your phone or MP3 player, often via a USB excuse. If you use a high-end infotainment dashboard, you'll find an internal hard drive and multiple SD card slots for storing music. Other cars can wirelessly transfer music from your smartphone via Bluetooth.
navigation. Of course, our smartphones also navigate well, but who wants to dangerously remove the line of sight from the road and wait for these devices to find us? At least I won't.
Some cars have a basic route planning voice command ("Next traffic light turns left"), which is useful at a critical juncture. But my car will completely integrate the navigation system with the dashboard display and keypoint database. However, this type of available equipment varies widely, with some features slightly more than those that cost $100 for portable navigation devices, and some with dual touch screens, which not only tell you what to do next.
explore. After mastering these latest knowledge, I started looking for an attractive luxury sports car. This car must be comfortable, advanced and easy to operate, just like the digital devices I like.
Stepping into a Ford dealership, I saw a salesperson and said to him: "I want an electronic dashboard and at least two driving computers. Take me to see Mustang."
He pushed his glasses and looked at my eyes.
Then say: "Two? Let me show you one or three."
Here are five electronic dashboards that I have considered:
Ford car dashboard
Ford
Ford has its unique Sync technology, featuring voice-activated phone dialing, phonebook synchronization, MP3 player integration, Bluetooth audio streaming, and route planning voice navigation.
If you choose Sync with voice-activated navigation, you get a 4.2-inch display with full voice activation control and satellite radio capabilities. Externally, a USB port and an AUX interface for various external digital products are configured. For the high-end Sync system with MyFord Touch, you'll also get an SD card slot to load more music, a video player, dual screen (including a touch screen) and Internet connectivity. You can even create your own personal Wifi hotspot.
I think it's convenient to configure Sync for MyFord Touch, with some excellent customization features, such as desktop photos that can be selected by the user. Its one-time voice activation feature allows you to listen to the entire address (rather than entering the city, street, and address via separate commands) with few errors. However, I was disappointed with its extremely simple interface similar to ATM machines and cold, mechanical voice prompts. In addition to these shortcomings, there is no doubt that MyFord Touch is one of the most advanced and responsive systems on the market and should not be missed. Ford quickly mastered the technology.
General Motors dashboard
General Motors
When I learned about the Camaro (I am after 70), I found the OnStar RemoteLink system not only innovative but also fun to use. The mobile app running on your smartphone can run car diagnostics remotely, contact roadside assistance or even unlock your car. Bluetooth wireless dialing is also standard, and a backup camera is also integrated into the rearview mirror.
I hope that Camaro will be able to assemble GM's new CUE system, but the system is only suitable for Cadillac XTS, ATS and SRX, at least for now. CUE is like assembling a complete tablet on your dashboard. The system is even equipped with motion-sensing technology that allows the screen to rebound slowly so you feel like you are pressing a button. If Camaro can assemble the CUE system, I definitely want to buy one.
Mini dashboard
Mini
I like Mini, they are a combination of fashion and ultra-modern engineering. The Mini is a relatively young brand under BMW and its technology reflects this. The car's Mini Connected technology assumes you already have an iPhone, creating a complete ecosystem that includes Bluetooth hands-free dialing, navigation and car features around the device. For the Mini, this is a good try.
