AM250 laser melting rapid prototyping machine
Renishaw's laser melting process is an emerging rapid prototyping manufacturing technology (also known as "additive manufacturing" or "3D printing") for the design and production of complex structural components. The technology directly produces full-height metal parts based on the interface data of the three-dimensional CAD layer, and melts into a 2D section with a metal layer thickness from 20 microns to 100 microns, thus forming a three-dimensional model suitable for use in aerospace and medical fields. Renishaw will showcase the intricate geometry of the samples produced by AM250 at the show.
Renishaw successfully used rapid prototyping manufacturing technology (also known as "additive manufacturing" or "3D printing") to produce the main prototype components for the BLOODHOUND supersonic car, which will attempt to break the 1000 mph speed limit in the summer of 2015.

Application: flow meter measurement
There are many kinds of USF used in closed pipeline according to the measuring principle, and the most commonly used are propagation time method and Doppler method. Among them, time difference ultrasonic flowmeter is used to measure fluid flow by the principle that the time difference of sound wave propagating downstream and countercurrent is proportional to the velocity of fluid flow. It is widely used in raw water measurement of rivers, rivers and reservoirs, process flow detection of petrochemical products, water consumption measurement of production process and other fields. According to practical application, time-difference ultrasonic flowmeter can be divided into portable time-difference ultrasonic flowmeter, fixed time-difference ultrasonic flowmeter and time-difference gas ultrasonic flowmeter.
