CaptoGlove is a wearable glove designed for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) and is exhibiting at the 2018 Electronic Entertainment Fair (E3).
As a wireless controller, CaptoGlove allows users to perform immersive interactive experiences in a more natural and user-friendly way. This technology has evolved into a wearable solution supported by VR, AR and MR applications. CaptoGlove uses flexpoint sensors from Flexpoint, as well as washable, breathable textiles.
Some of CaptoGlove’s recent achievements include the issuance of CaptoGlove’s U.S. patent. The use of prototype tactile motion modules for support of the Unreal Engine 4 SDK has been improved, including Blueprint scripts, which will greatly simplify the workflow for developers. Similarly, the Unity 3D SDK also supports improved product performance in 32-bit and 64-bit environments. Finally, SteamVR's Open VR driver is supported, providing a feature set that is fully compatible with all SteamVR content.
In terms of partners, CaptoGlove's integration in the digital combat simulator (DCS) highlights the exciting DCS from the Eagle Dynamics SA DCS World: F/A-18C Hornet and Persian Gulf maps. The CaptoGlove has also been demonstrated to interact with the latest PIMAX 8K M1 heads with a market-leading 200-degree field of view, 4K resolution per eye and minimized screen door effects. Thanks to the interaction with CaptoGlove, these two products can achieve some of the most graphical virtual reality experience and have an immersive natural interaction.
Because CaptoGlove does not require additional integration and can automatically detect various hand and finger movements, it works seamlessly with all PCs and smartphones. It can bring a new sense of reality to the immersive experience and provide users with truly natural interaction.
