[High-tech LED News] Copper foil substrate factory Shangmao Electronics will be listed on the cabinet on November 29, with a listing price of 10 yuan. The amount of Shangmao listed capital is NT$670 million. In the LED lighting market, Shangmao has cooperated with Japan's Sanyo Semiconductor and Japan's Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. to attack LED lighting, backlight modules and power supply/inverter markets.
Shang Mao said that in the future, he hopes to become a global supplier of FR-4 copper foil substrates and LED heat-dissipating substrates with niche and characteristics. The proportion of niche-type products is expected to increase from 27% to 50% next year.
International manufacturers have gradually introduced halogen-free and lead-free environmentally-friendly substrates, especially smart phones and tablet computers. The main customers use lead-free and halogen-free environmentally-friendly substrates. Shangmao has successfully developed a variety of halogen-free substrates.
