LEDs are directional light sources, and directional LEDs are far from the requirements of indoor lighting.

1. Nature and lighting

2, the status quo of LED lighting

Humans recognize light and standardize artificial light source indicators, all starting from natural light. Among the artificial light sources, from the first generation of tungsten filament bulbs to the second generation of double U-type energy-saving lamps, their illumination is the same as that of the solar illumination. As the fourth generation of LED light source, to meet the needs of indoor lighting, we must understand the characteristics of the indoor geometric space. The indoor geometric space is characterized by low height and large horizontal area. Therefore, people need the light emitted by the artificial light source to be uniform and soft. There is no light dead angle, giving people a psychologically bright lighting effect. Directional illuminating LEDs are used for indoor lighting. Due to the limitation of the illuminating angle, it can not only meet the needs of indoor lighting, but also affect the physiological and psychological state of people.

First, there will be obvious differences between the exposed areas.

In the range of illumination angles, the main light energy of the LED is concentrated, and the brightness of the object illuminated in this area is particularly strong; and outside the range of the illumination angle, a clear dark area is revealed. The difference in light flux between the two areas is >50%. Strong contrast between light and dark is one of the main causes of glare, and it can also cause physical and psychological discomfort.

Second, the directional LEDs emit uneven light.

The angle between the luminous flux value of the LED illumination angle and the 50% luminous flux value (luminous intensity?) is the LED half power angle. This definition determines that the LED itself is not uniform in this angle.

The prior art uses a frosted cover to change the light transmission path. Although the illumination angle can be increased to a certain extent, its illumination mode still belongs to directional illumination. The problem of the uniformity of the directional light-emitting LED light source is solved by the frosted cover. The illuminating unevenness in the illuminating angle of the directional light-emitting LED element leads to the high light-emitting intensity in the direction of the optical axis of the frosted cover, and the weak light-emitting phenomenon in other directions, we can In the first batch of bans issued by the Consumers' Office of Japan on LED light sources, it can be confirmed. The Consumer Affairs Office pointed out: "The product with problems, the "total luminous flux" value of all directions of illumination is 13 to 69% lower than the standard value. .......". In addition, the loss of light using a matte solution needs to be paid enough attention.

Therefore, the prior art frosted cover solution is not an ideal solution. To completely solve this problem, we believe that it is necessary to make the LED element realize 360-degree space illumination.

3, 360 degree LED

The 360-degree LED has a half-power illumination angle of 360 degrees, and the illumination type is space illumination or full beam illumination. Its illuminating effect enables the beam to fill the entire illuminated space.

The light source made of 360-degree LED components is used in indoor lighting. It has the following advantages: First, the LED component realizes 360-degree space illumination, and the transparent bulb can be directly used as a lampshade without using a sanding cover, thereby reducing light loss. Light source made of 360-degree LED, no illumination dead angle, no glare, no glare, suitable brightness distribution, less shadow and ghosting, strong stereoscopic style; it can be seamless with tungsten filament lamps and energy-saving lamps that people are used to. Docking.

4, on the analog 360 degree LED light source components

We should clarify the difference between a simulated 360-degree spatial LED light source component and a real-time 360-degree spatial LED. An LED that achieves 360-degree spatial illumination on a single component is referred to as a real-time 360-degree spatial illumination at any angle in space. The so-called analog 360-degree spatial illuminating LED light source assembly distributes a plurality of directional illuminating LEDs on the columnar body to simulate a 360-degree spatial illuminating effect. Therefore, the light emitted by the simulated 360-degree LED light source component still belongs to the directional illuminating light source.

Therefore, 360-degree LED is the best lighting solution for indoor lighting.
