The improvement of the motor drive efficiency requires more and more attention under the current global energy-saving wave. Although the motor-driven control based on the variable frequency method can effectively improve the energy efficiency ratio, the complex design is a challenge that developers must face, and in order to assist complex operations, such solutions will use some expensive processors. , such as digital signal controllers. Toshiba Semiconductor's latest TMPM374 microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex-M3 core integrated Vector Control Engine (Vector Engine) module and an integrated Intelligent Drive Module (IPD) help designers overcome these problems.

Protection circuit, overcurrent protection circuit, over temperature automatic shutdown circuit. Because the drive signal can directly support 5V level, it is suitable for MCU direct drive control.

Toshiba's processor based on ARM Cortex-M3 core supports up to 80HMz operating frequency, 5V working voltage, integrated 128K Flash and 6K RAM. The MCU also provides power-on reset circuit (POR) and automatic voltage detection (LVD). ), internal calibratable high-speed RC oscillator circuit, 1 UART/SPI, hardware encoder input, 1 16-bit timer with 8 output/input compare channels, 12-bit resolution ADC, maximum sampling frequency 2us@(fADC=40MHz), programmable motor control drive (PMD), vector operation engine (VE) and other rich peripherals can meet the needs of normal motor drive computing.
