Summary:

DPA-Swi tch greatly simplifies the design compared to designs that use separate devices. The capacitively coupled synchronous rectification drive used in the design is useful for higher voltage outputs, still allowing passive MOSFET drive, and no gate overvoltage due to direct drive of the resistor.
