TDK launched a new K525 negative temperature coefficient temperature sensor, which can measure -10°C...

TDK recently launched the new K525 element, which is a new type of EPCOS Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) temperature Sensor with a wider temperature measurement range, reaching -10 °C to +300 °C. This sensor adopts a ceramic sleeve structure design filled with ceramic materials, which is very suitable for harsh environment applications, and has excellent corrosion resistance characteristics, and can withstand corrosive media such as acids and alkalis. Its response time is only 1.2 seconds, and it can easily cope with measurement tasks with rapid and frequent temperature changes. Under the conditions of 25°C and 100°C, its resistance is about 48.5 kΩ and 3.3 kΩ, respectively, and the B value (20/100) is close to 4000 K.

TDK launched a new K525 negative temperature coefficient temperature sensor, which can measure the range of -10°C to +300°C

In terms of electrical performance, the new sensor has a high safety level and has passed the high-voltage test. The maximum leakage current under 4 kV AC voltage is only 0.1 mA. With a wide temperature measurement range and a rugged ceramic housing, the new sensor is widely used in a variety of applications, such as industrial and automotive electronics, as well as household appliances.
