GigaExpress SBC PCIe card based on single/dual core Zynq

The Xilinx Zynq SoC single/dual core family integrates one or two ARM Cortex-A9 cores. The structure is divided into PS and PL. The dual core is located in the PS part and the PL is the programmable logic part. Based on this, GigaExpress SBC has expanded not only to add up to 1GB of DDR3L-1066 SDRAM memory cells to the PS part, but also to add 512MB of PL-specific DDR3L SDRAM with a read/write frequency of 333Mhz to the PL part of Zynq. In addition, both the PS software program and the PL hardware configuration file are stored in the 512Mb QSPI flash memory. The GigaExpress SBC board also integrates a Cat5e RJ45 connector that provides a 1000BASE-T Ethernet interface. Figure 2 shows the GigaExpress SBC block diagram. From Figure 1 and Figure 2, we can speculate that based on the Zynq SoC chip on this board and various memory devices, we can build a complete and extremely high performance system.
