Some LED products, especially LEDs on flashlights, have different beam colors. This is not the use of hidden organs to make them look beautiful, different light colors have different applications. Here's a quick look at the most common colors and their practical uses.

White light has perfect color characteristics, but it can damage the vision of adapting to dark light. It takes a certain amount of time to re-adapt after a certain light source is extinguished.

Red light is usually used for night vision. Red light does not cause your pupil to shrink excessively and the eye does not need to re-adapt to the darkness once the red light is extinguished. Red is also usually used as a "safe" color in monochrome photo processing because it does not damage the film being printed.

Yellow light has some advantages of red and white light. Another advantage of yellow light is that when you read, you reduce the reflection and glare of eye fatigue caused by long reading.

Green light can also be used as night vision, and green light is also especially useful for reading maps or charts at night. It is not so easy to be discovered by night vision equipment, it is easy to be discovered by the human eye, and the brightness of green light is lower than that of red light.

Blue light can be used to read maps at night and is often favored by military personnel because blue light increases the level of contrast. It can also be used as a background work light for theaters and performances.

Blue-green light has the advantages of night vision similar to green and blue light, but with the improvement of the color characteristics of blue-green light, some users prefer to use blue-green light for this reason.

Infrared red light is used with night vision equipment. Otherwise, people's eyes can't see infrared light.

Ultraviolet light is often used to identify whether banknotes are forged. Some UV LED illuminators are popular at nightclubs and parties, and they are used to make fluorescent materials emit brighter light.

Whether the color of light and the color of its wavelength are visible is determined by its wavelength. The wavelength of light is in nanometers, which is also a billionth of a meter.
